Where to Stay Near Gangnam Clinics: 10 Recovery-Friendly Places for Medical Travelers

MEDICAL TRAVEL · GANGNAM, SEOUL · PRICES CHECKED OCTOBER 30, 2026

Coming to Korea for surgery, a skin treatment or a health check-up? 😊 Choosing a good clinic is the biggest decision, but choosing where you’ll rest afterward matters too. When you come to Korea for treatment, we’d love to help you find a clean, comfortable, well-rated place to stay near your clinic, so you can focus on feeling better.

Many of Seoul’s best-known plastic surgery and skin clinics are in Gangnam, especially around Sinsa, Apgujeong, Cheongdam and Gangnam Station. We searched Booking.com and picked 10 places near these areas with a guest score of 8.0 or higher, at least 20 reviews, and a private bathroom in every room. To be honest with you, Gangnam is one of Seoul’s most expensive areas, so rooms here start at about $59 per room, or about $30 per person if a friend or family member comes with you.

Why stay close to your clinic?

  • Many clinics ask patients to come back for check-ups in the days after a procedure.
  • A short walk or taxi ride is much easier than a long subway trip when you are tired or swollen.
  • Your own bathroom, a kitchen for simple meals and a quiet room help you rest well.

This guide is about places to stay, not medical advice. Always follow your clinic’s aftercare instructions.

Before you book: each price is the lowest price per room for 2 adults, 1 night on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, shown on Booking.com on October 30, 2026. Our ✓ checklist only shows features listed on Booking.com, so a dash means “not listed”, not “not available”.

6 tips for a comfortable recovery stay

1Ask your clinic first. Before you book, ask how far you can comfortably travel for check-ups. Some clinics also know good places nearby.
2Choose a private bathroom. Every pick here has one. It makes washing, changing dressings and resting much easier.
3Look for an elevator. After surgery, carrying a suitcase up stairs is the last thing you want to do.
4A kitchen helps. Soft, simple meals are easier to make yourself, and convenience stores in Gangnam are open late.
5Bring a companion if you can. Sharing a room halves the cost, and having someone with you is a big comfort.
6Book flexible dates. Recovery can take longer than planned. Look for free cancellation or easy date changes.

Prices and scores change every day, so please check the latest price on the booking page before you pay.

Getting treatment in a foreign country can feel a little scary, but a calm, comfortable place to stay makes a big difference. As you’ve seen, you can find clean, well-rated rooms with a private bathroom right in Gangnam’s clinic district, from about $30 per person when you share. We hope your treatment goes smoothly and you feel your best soon! 💙
