Where to Buy Used Medical Equipment in Korea: 10 Sites, Rules and a Buyer’s Checklist (2026)
BUYER’S GUIDE · USED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT · SITES CHECKED OCTOBER 30, 2026
Opening a clinic, adding a new treatment, or replacing an old machine? 😊 New medical equipment is expensive, and Korea is well known for high-quality devices, especially ultrasound, X-ray, dental and aesthetic lasers. If you’re looking for good equipment at a fair price, we’d love to help you find reliable places to buy it, so this time we looked at where people buy used medical equipment in Korea.
We visited each website ourselves and picked 10 places: seven Korean sites where clinics buy and sell used equipment, and three international sites where you can find Korean sellers in English. For each one, we checked what it sells, where the company is, and whether it shows its medical device seller license, offers safe payment, has a showroom, accepts export inquiries or has English pages.

Rules to know before you buy
🇰🇷 If you are buying inside Korea
- Under Korea’s Medical Devices Act rules, a dealer who sells or leases a used medical device generally needs a quality inspection by the manufacturer/importer or a testing agency, and a certificate of inspection must be attached. Some low-risk devices are exempt.
- For used devices that run on electricity, the inspection guideline from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) includes an electrical leakage test.
- Businesses that sell medical devices must register as a medical device seller. Several sites above show this registration number at the bottom of their page.
🌏 If you are importing to another country
- A listing does not mean a device can be legally imported or used in your country. Check your country’s rules for used or refurbished medical devices, import permits and device registration first.
- Korea uses 220V, 60Hz power. Make sure the device works with your local power supply.
- Some devices have Korean-language software or are set up for the Korean market. Ask whether the language can be changed.
- Ask who will provide service, parts and software support in your country.
This is general information, not legal advice. Please confirm the latest rules with MFDS or your local regulator.
Buyer’s checklist: 7 questions to ask the seller
Buying used medical equipment can save a lot of money, but only if the device is safe, legal and well supported. With the sites above and the checklist in hand, you can compare offers calmly and choose with confidence. We hope you find exactly the equipment your clinic needs! 💙
